SAP CI/FICA Consultant
Numeric Technologies, Inc is looking for an SAP CI/FICA Consultant to provide services for our client.
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Consultant with strong expertise in FICA, Convergent Invoicing (CI), Convergent Charging (CC), Subscription Order Management (SOM), and Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end design, configuration, integration, and implementation activities across BRIM and Financial sub-ledger systems.
Job Responsibilities As a SAP CI/FICA Consultant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Lead integration between SOM, CC, CI, and RAR within the SAP BRIM landscape.
Manage reconciliation processes for transferring transactional records from FICA to FICO.
Configure Convergent Invoicing processes including BIT class creation, mapping, and CI–CC integration.
Enable and validate Web Services integrations across SOM – CC – CI.
Manage subscription lifecycle processes including Subscription Orders/Contracts, upgrades, downgrades, lock/unlock, and contract changes.
Configure financial contract accounts (FICA) including business processes mapping and organizational hierarchy setups.
Handle chart of accounts extension, GL creation, P&L/Balance Sheet account introduction, and subledger alignment (FI/CO ↔ FICA).
Configure incoming payments, electronic bank statements, lockbox (BAI2), cash application, and house bank setups.
Set up customer/vendor master data, business partner roles, contract accounts, and account maintenance.
Configure fiscal year setup, field status groups, automatic payment programs, and bank interaction processes.
Activate and maintain RAI classes.
Manage end-to-end SD–RAR and CI–RAR process flows.
Work with AB & CB–COPA, reporting, reconciliation, and revenue recognition scenarios.
Work on full-cycle implementations across GL, AP, AR, COPA, FICA/RMCA, BRIM, Revenue Recognition, Tax/Vertex integrations, inter-company processes, and amortization.
Translate business requirements into functional designs, configuration documents, and technical specifications for custom developments (BAPIs, User Exits, Enhancements).
Manage testing, cutover, transport coordination, and post–go-live support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across OTC, P2P, Finance, Billing, and Reporting.
Demonstrate strong project leadership skills, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Deliver clear communication, documentation, presentations, and stakeholder updates.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands‑on experience in SAP BRIM (SOM–CC–CI–FICA), RAR, and S4/HANA.
Deep understanding of financial reporting, O2C, P2P processes and integration with FICO.
Experience with master data (customer, vendor, BP, material), EDI/IDOC, and custom developments.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Fiori applications (tile identification, activation based on roles).
Exposure to credit management, account assignment, reconciliation processes, and intercompany execution.
SAP certifications in BRIM, FICO, or RAR are a plus.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Computer information systems, information technology or related field.
