Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist – Providence St. Jude Medical Center Full‑time position, 8‑hour day shifts, located in Fullerton, CA. Reports to the Laboratory Director and Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Perform technical, analytical, clerical, and quality assurance functions within the laboratory department.

Supervise and coordinate laboratory activities during assigned shift or periods of time.

Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and laboratory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (or equivalent) upon hire

Various specialized licenses (Clinical Chemist, Immunohematologist, Microbiologist, Toxicologist, Cytogeneticist, Genetic Molecular Biologist, Hematology, Histocompatibility, Biochemistry Special, or Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special) upon hire

At least 3 years of licensed Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience in an acute care facility

Compensation & Benefits Base pay range listed separately. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, overtime, bonuses, and incentive opportunities.
