Position Summary
The University of Nebraska Medical Center Department of Psychiatry in Omaha, Nebraska is pleased to announce the availability of a Consultation-Liaison (CL) Psychiatry position. The ideal candidate will be board certified / board eligible with interests in providing inpatient psychiatric consultation services to our hospitalized patients, both general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. Fellowship training and / or board certification / board eligibility for consultation-liaison psychiatry or addiction psychiatry is not required but preferred. Our hospital is recognized as the regional center for excellence in transplant, oncology, cardiology and women’s health services. The rapidly growing Department of Psychiatry is comprised of 40 full-time and 1 part-time faculty members and co-administers a fully accredited residency program in general psychiatry and post-doctoral fellowship programs in addiction medicine and forensic psychiatry.
Responsibilities
Medical student, resident and interprofessional teaching alongside national leaders in psychiatric education and research
You’ll be supported by a clinical team of psychiatrists, residents, and advanced practice provider and social work
