We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Full Stack Engineer with strong programming fundamentals and cloud development expertise.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of full-stack development and hands-on cloud engineering, contributing to the foundation that powers next-generation digital platforms.
This position can be based in Boston, MA; Merrimack, NH; or Westlake, TX.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and manage cloud-native applications and services with a focus on automation and scalability.
Apply software engineering best practices including design patterns, object-oriented programming, and CI/CD principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in a dynamic and agile environment.
Develop and deploy applications using various Amazon Web Services including compute, storage (EBS), CloudFormation, and container services.
Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible to manage cloud systems.
Contribute to system reliability and observability strategies to ensure high availability of critical systems.
Build serverless functions using Boto and Python, and work with Kubernetes and container orchestration for application deployment.
Engage in root cause analysis and provide timely resolution to production issues.
Participate in agile ceremonies and continuously improve delivery practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of software engineering experience. Hands-on experience with full-stack development across distributed applications. Proficiency in object-oriented Python and serverless function development. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially CloudFormation, compute, EBS, and container tools. Solid understanding of containers, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud IAM controls. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or ARM. Strong understanding of version control and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins). Experience working in an agile development environment. Ability to work well both independently and in team environments with strong collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer. Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) or similar certification. Experience with cloud reliability engineering and observability strategies.
