Director - System Applications
to join our
Information Technology
team.
The Director - System Applications functions under the direction of the Vice President - Information Technology. In addition to sustaining current systems, this role will create or refine offerings that align with the strategic vision and growth goals of Aspirus. The director will ensure high levels of quality, satisfaction, integrity, and commitment from the imaging IT teams. The position is accountable for managing hardware, applications, and services supporting Aspirus’s enterprise imaging strategy, working to unify imaging IT services across the health system when beneficial.
This role involves developing tactical plans and a strategic roadmap to increase automation, efficiency, service quality, and reduce costs for all applications. Responsibilities also include establishing measurable goals, objectives, and operating procedures for IT Enterprise Imaging and Informatics. The director will manage a team of managers, project managers, PACS administrators, and application analysts, ensuring standardized procedures, system standardization, and collaboration with other departments to enhance IT services.

Hours:
Full Time, 1.0 FTE
Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA, MHA, or related degree preferred.
PMP certification preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of healthcare IT management experience, with thorough understanding of enterprise imaging IT, including billing, contracts, and grants, as well as knowledge of diagnostic radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, cardiology, interventional procedures, and related imaging fields as defined by SIIM.
