Point System | Paid Per Visit: $55-$170
Shift:
Full-Time, Normal Business Hours
Qualifications
Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist or:
Completed 350 hours of supervised clinical practicum (or in progress)
Have at least 9 months of supervised full-time SLP services post-degree
Passed an approved national examination in SLP
1 year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology
CPR Certification
Valid CA Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
Job Summary
Conduct evaluations and assess the home environment to identify equipment needs related to speech and language functions
Identify functional speech defects and develop a plan of care to enhance patient functionality
Administer speech therapy programs using specialized techniques and equipment
Recommend communication devices and aids as needed
Collaborate with referring physicians and organization staff to ensure comprehensive care
Participate in case conferences, in-service training, and meetings to facilitate coordinated care
Prepare and submit documentation according to organization policy
Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practice and theory
Identify and refer patients and families to additional services as appropriate
Instruct patients, families, and healthcare personnel on the treatment plan and supervise home health aides related to speech-language therapy
