Description We are looking for a talented Revit Designer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position is based in Corona, California, and offers an exciting opportunity to work on dynamic commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in drafting detailed architectural models and collaborating with project managers to ensure precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed architectural and interior design models using Revit software.
Collaborate with project managers to translate architectural drawings into accurate 3D models.
Incorporate lighting fixtures and electrical components into design plans to support preconstruction processes.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and standards during the drafting process.
Review and refine models to meet project specifications and deadlines.
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to create comprehensive designs for commercial construction projects.
Communicate effectively with team members to address challenges and propose creative solutions.
Maintain organized records and documentation of all design drafts and revisions.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance design efficiency.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to drafting software.
Requirements
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
Demonstrated experience in drafting architectural and interior designs for commercial projects.
Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and construction processes.
Ability to incorporate lighting and electrical components into detailed design models.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams.
Problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges in design and drafting.
Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing design documentation.
Familiarity with industry trends and advancements in drafting technologies.
