We are seeking a proactive and growth-oriented Systems Administrator to join our IT team in Fairfield County, CT. This is a hands-on, onsite role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to expand their technical expertise. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and evolving our enterprise infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across systems. Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 cloud services including Teams and Multi-Factor Authentication. Manage and maintain virtualization infrastructure using VMware vSphere. Perform general Linux system administration in an enterprise setting. Monitor and secure email systems, ensuring proper routing, spam filtering, malware protection, and data loss prevention (DLP). Configure and manage network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewalls to ensure secure and reliable connectivity. Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Maintain physical server hardware, including installation, configuration, and cabling for optimal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar role supporting enterprise IT environments. Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365). Experience with VMware vSphere and general Linux administration. Solid understanding of networking protocols and security best practices. Proficiency in scripting for automation and task scheduling. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible. What We’re Looking For
