Job Summary As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our business. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and nurturing client relationships to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of success in business development within the security industry.

Key Responsibilities Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities

Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and market segments.

Proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation strategies.

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate target markets and acquire new clients.

Organized and methodical in building a pipeline, measuring activity levels, preferably through the use of various CRM + Sales Platforms.

Build and Maintain Client Relationships

Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.

Establish rapport with key decision‑makers and stakeholders to understand their security needs and requirements.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and recommendations on security solutions.

Develop Strategic Partnerships

Identify and forge strategic partnerships with complementary businesses, industry associations, and other stakeholders to expand our market reach.

Collaborate with partners to leverage their networks and resources to generate leads and drive business growth.

Prepare and Present Proposals

Prepare customized proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs and requirements of prospective clients.

Effectively communicate the value proposition of our security services and solutions to prospective clients.

Present proposals to clients and negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure new business.

Monitor Market Trends and Competitive Landscape

Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive activities.

Analyze competitor offerings and market dynamics to identify areas of opportunity and differentiation.

Prepare & Disseminate Marketing Materials

Work with our team to ensure marketing materials are created and posted on appropriate social media platforms.

Manage social media presence, highlight company success.

Support proposal and RFP submissions by providing polished visuals, photos, and branded collateral.

Coordinate scheduling and posting calendars to ensure consistent weekly content across all platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. Preferred.

Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the security industry.

Strong networking and relationship‑building skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrated, measurable sales results against quotas/targets/objectives.

Knowledge of security industry trends, technologies, and best practices is preferred.

Compensation Our compensation package is at the high end of the industry! We’ll work with you to create a package that aligns with your abilities and responsibilities.

Salary:

$75,000–$100,000, based on experience. Plus incentives, sales percentages.

Bonus:

Based on performance metrics.

PTO: 2 weeks paid vacation annually.
