Summary:
As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside a Walmart store, you will lead patient care for eye and vision services while promoting overall health and well‑being.
Salary:
Based on experience
Schedule:
Full‑time
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive eye care and vision services to Walmart customers.
Manage patient appointments and follow‑up care.
Maintain accurate medical records and comply with all relevant regulations.
Lease Options and Autonomy
Set days of practice, hours of operation, and patient schedule.
Control your fee schedule and retain 100% of exam/professional fees.
Opt into fair‑market‑value equipment/instrumentation and administrative or opt‑tech support services (if state allows).
Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
Valid state optometry license.
Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school.
Valid state ophthalmology license.
General liability certificate.
Professional liability insurance certificate.
Completed W‑9 form.
Additional Requirements
ME & VA license agreements are managed by Gumberg Asset Management Company.
