Capital Markets Attorney: 3rd-6th year
Cooley LLP has an opportunity available in its internationally recognized corporate practice; associates with three to six years of capital markets and public securities experience are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have experience (i) representing companies and underwriters in public securities offerings, including IPOs and other equity or equity-linked transactions, with a focus on the technology, consumer/retail and life sciences sectors; (ii) representing public companies in a wide variety of matters including corporate governance and SEC and exchange reporting and compliance; and (iii) managing client relationships and handling the day-to-day demands and work flow requirements of a variety of clients with sophisticated needs. Ideal candidates will have worked in the capital markets department of a national or international law firm, and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school. The expected annual pay range for this position is $260,000-$390,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
