The Department of Neurosurgery within Cleveland Clinic's Neurological Institute together with the Children's Institute is seeking a
Board Certified or Board Eligible, fellowship trained Pediatric Neurosurgeon
to help build and grow the pediatric neurosurgery program at the main campus in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be skilled in
all aspects of general pediatric neurosurgery
and will bring a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and collaboration.
While all specialty interests are considered, we are especially focused on expanding our pediatric spine program. Candidates with a particular interest and experience in complex spine pathology, including complex cervical spine cases and congenital anomalies, will be highly valued. Additionally, as our institution transitions to a trauma center, we require a surgeon with significant interest and experience in managing trauma patients.
Responsibilities
Perform surgical cases in general pediatric neurosurgery with a focus on complex spine and trauma surgeries.
Share pediatric sub‑specialty call on weekdays with one pediatric partner and participate in a combined adult cranial and pediatric call schedule on weekends and holidays.
Engage in resident and fellow teaching, and receive resident and APP support for clinical care.
Contribute to programmatic building, community outreach, research, and scholarly activities.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible, fellowship trained Pediatric Neurosurgeon.
Skill in all aspects of general pediatric neurosurgery.
Experience or strong interest in complex spine pathology and congenital anomalies.
Experience or interest in trauma patient management.

Pay Range Minimum salary: $570,000; Maximum salary: $765,000. Salary reflects the anticipated range for new hires and is for a 100% full‑time employment (FTE). Actual compensation will be consistent with fair market value and determined after taking various factors into consideration, including the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and board certification. This is not inclusive of the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package, which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision, and retirement.
