We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Relationship Management to join our Issuer Services – Sales and Relationship Management team. This role can be located at one of these offices: New York City, NY; Pittsburgh, PA; or Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
Independently develops the strategic plan for managing and growing existing client relationships, with a focus on revenue retention, while identifying opportunities to evolve client business.
Has developed significant expertise on industry trends, competitor services/offerings and client’s business environment.
Consults with significantly large sized clients on their strategic vision and how the firm can help them achieve that vision, and serves as the primary client advocate and ultimate escalation point for client satisfaction.
Promotes firm services/product offerings that solve client challenges and achieve account growth, evaluates and structures deals (pricing, contract terms, etc.) to determine the optimal terms for both the client and the firm.
Develops, tracks, and reports on relationship strategy/results for assigned client portfolio.
Works closely with business development teams to ensure relationship management strategy is executed by account management and client service teams.
Recommends areas for firm improvement based on client feedback, and may deliver leadership feedback both internally and externally to clients.
Is responsible for the achievement of organic and incremental growth (revenue, asset) goals within assigned client portfolios.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; an advanced degree is highly preferred.
10–15 years of relevant work experience in CLOs, Credit and Private Credit; experience selling across the Asset Management segment.

Compensation The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $221,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary, if hired, will be determined on an individualized basis, including experience and market location. It is only part of BNY’s total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long‑term incentive packages, and company‑sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at‑will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
