Private Equity Associate – Dallas, TX
A middle‑market private equity firm is looking for a
Private Equity Associate
to join its investment team in
Dallas . This role provides hands‑on experience across the full deal cycle and meaningful responsibility working directly with senior professionals. The firm focuses on partnering with founder‑owned and lower middle‑market businesses, offering a collaborative environment where associates play a key role in evaluating new investments and driving value within portfolio companies.
Responsibilities
Build detailed financial and valuation models (LBO, operating models, sensitivities).
Support all phases of due diligence, including financial, commercial, and operational review.
Prepare investment memos and presentation materials for the investment committee.
Conduct industry research, market mapping, and assist with deal sourcing efforts.
Partner with portfolio company management teams on performance tracking and value‑creation initiatives.
Qualifications
2–4 years of investment banking experience
(M&A, Leveraged Finance, or related).
Strong analytical, modeling, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
Preference for candidates with personal or professional ties to Dallas.
