A leading middle‑market private equity firm is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join its investment team in Dallas, Texas. The role provides meaningful exposure across the full deal life‑cycle and the opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals. The firm partners with founder‑led and lower middle‑market businesses across a range of industries, with a particular emphasis on technology and industrial services. Associates benefit from a collaborative, analytical, and entrepreneurial environment where they play a direct role in evaluating new investments and supporting value‑creation initiatives within portfolio companies. Responsibilities Build comprehensive financial and valuation models, including LBOs, operating models, and scenario analyses. Support all aspects of due diligence financial, commercial, operational, and industry‑specific across technology, industrial, and other generalist sectors. Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and materials for internal discussions and investment committee review. Conduct market mapping, industry research, and assist in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities. Work closely with portfolio company leadership teams on performance tracking, operational improvements, and value‑creation initiatives. Qualifications 2+ years of investment banking and/or private equity experience, ideally within M&A, or relevant sector coverage. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with exceptional attention to detail. Effective communicator with the ability to clearly present complex information. Ability to manage multiple work streams in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
