ADP, Inc. is hiring a Director, Strategy in our New York, NY location. This role is an exciting blend of leadership, market analysis, venture partnership, and execution in a high‑impact, client‑focused environment.
What You’ll Do
Build and coach high‑performing teams to deliver results and foster engagement.
Continuously learn new technologies, processes, and training opportunities to integrate cutting‑edge solutions into our strategy.
Own project execution, ensuring deliverables are polished, complete, and impactful.
Collaborate with cross‑functional associates to share ideas and methodologies.
Handle a diverse workload—team coordination, leadership reviews, and ad‑hoc requests across regions.
Present to senior leaders and stakeholders with executive‑level communication and influence.
Address inevitable challenges, identifying and implementing solutions.
Develop expertise in HCM technology, startup ecosystems, & emerging market trends; conduct market & financial due diligence; negotiate investment deals; and support portfolio companies.
To Succeed In This Role
Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, analytics, IT, or related field; 7 years of experience. Master’s degree with 5 years of experience also accepted.
Travel: 5% domestic travel.
Work Experience: Two (2) years in venture capital, startup investment, market sizing, financial modeling (DCF, LBO, comparables), cap‑table management, term‑sheet negotiation, and post‑investment growth strategies.
Additional skills: Advanced financial analysis, market forecasting, competitive benchmarking, and proficiency with tools such as PitchBook, CB Insights, and Capital IQ.
