Key Responsibilities

Provide product development expertise to lead RF products from concept to market release.

Develop test plans and create test setups for measurement.

Measure product performance from first silicon evaluation through validation/characterization.

Analyze and plot data to share with the product team.

Create product specifications and datasheets.

Participate in data reviews, test plan reviews, and status meetings, and work on multiple overlapping projects.

Collaborate with functions such as design, test, applications, reliability, marketing, planning, etc.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of work experience.

Solid understanding of basic electrical circuit theory.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in RF semiconductor product engineering (including test or applications engineering).

Firm understanding of RF performance figures of merit such as S‑parameters, gain compression, P1dB, Psat, efficiency, noise figure, intercept points (IP3, etc.).

Measurement experience using RF instruments such as VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, power analyzers, oscilloscopes, and SMUs.

Knowledge of RF probing.

Understanding of basic semiconductor fabrication and assembly/packaging technologies.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits Experience Level: Experienced

Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time

Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days

Wage Range: $108,800 – $149,600

Actual wage offered may vary based on location, experience, education, training, market data, pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

Discretionary performance-based bonus potential.
