Company growth and new product launches have created an opportunity for a Director of Sales.
This position will report directly to the President and will be responsible for driving revenue results. The role will require management of sales activities, daily pipeline management, deal engineering, and personnel management.
The candidate will also be responsible for balancing these tactical tasks required to hit monthly revenue numbers with other initiatives such as working with marketing on digital campaigns, training on messaging, and setting goals to maximize performance. The ideal candidate has held a position in sales management for a company with annual revenues between $10M to $50M, managed quota‑carrying B2B sales team to hit a team revenue objective, and has experience in both transactional and SMB tech sales environments.
What you will be doing
Design and implement a strategic sales plan to expand our client base.
Understand LiveSwitch business cases and communicate our value proposition to prospects.
Build, lead, and drive the development of successful sales teams.
Ensure the sales team meets or exceeds activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and deals closed.
Work with Marketing to qualify leads from digital campaigns, conferences, partnerships, trade shows, etc.
The must‑haves
6‑8 years of B2B sales experience in SaaS.
BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
Experience driving and inspiring a diverse team of quota‑carrying revenue producers, demonstrated by a track record of successfully reaching revenue targets.
Proven leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to quickly discern and choose important priorities from competing responsibilities.
Persuasive and goal‑oriented.
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies/concepts quickly.
