Who YOU Are And What YOU Can Become Maintains a stockroom(s), receiving dock(s) or tool crib(s) with full responsibility for input, maintenance and accuracy of system(s) based inventory records and/or receiving records, as well as the receipt, control, kit pick and issue functions. To perform all stockrooms and receiving dock responsibilities as well as maintaining program kitting schedules, run and expedite backorder reports, coordinate receipt and delivery of critical line stopper material. To perform this function in accordance with the following duties. Performs any required follow‑up and expediting assignments to ensure the availability for manufacturing personnel of assigned material, tools, parts, and assemblies in accordance with established production schedules.

What YOU will do
Responsibility also includes keeping the assigned area in a neat and orderly manner to maintain a safe and clean work area. This includes removing large containers and all cardboard to a prearranged area, which Conservation will proceed with proper disposal.
Attends meetings in connection with the review of processes and process improvements, pointing out actual or potential failures to meet schedules or execution and suggesting appropriate corrective measures. Suggests to supervisor changes in material handling, expediting and follow‑up procedures.
Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to but not limited 30 pounds unassisted on a consistent basis. Able to walk up and down ladders and stairs on a repeated and consistent basis.
Must obtain and maintain Training and Certification for Forklift and all other Transportation devices applicable to Production Control Department.
Must maintain EHS and Quality Trainings.
Receives work assignments and goes to work site. Moves, lifts, and handles materials, parts, details, assemblies, etc. throughout the plant. Utilizes powered forklift, and/or a variety of hand operated battery powered skid lifts: forklifts, tow motors, hand trucks, dollies, "A" frames, etc.
Records jobs to assure an adequate control of movement, serial numbers, and area location of all jobs received or dispersed. Assists in making periodic shop inventories. Counts and stamps parts, prepares, and attaches metal tags for identification purposes as an assist to the assigned department as necessary.
Obtains required tools from storage area, and places tool with job. Indicates on trouble rack list of jobs for which tools are not available, showing job number, serial number, and missing tool number and any other pertinent information.
Follows the manufacture of details and/or assemblies through various operational sequences. Assists higher graded employees in maintaining production status reports showing quantities, schedule, promise dates, completion dates, and other information pertinent to expediting by contacting persons concerned to determine status of tools, materials, and job progress.
Secures information of a routine nature necessary for efficient follow‑up operations, such as checking with supervision to ensure that job orders are executed, ensuring that material and tool write‑ups are available, and acquiring delivery promise dates on procurement items and subcontracted jobs.
Submits acquired information to higher graded employees for interpretation and use in the preparation and maintenance of status reports.
Inputs all transactions affecting inventory status of assigned areas into the appropriate computerized inventory control systems: including, but not limited to, the MRP system(s), Tracker system, carousel system, barcode system, and shop floor control system.
Performs the physical movement and handling of material parts, kits in order to execute the receipt, control, kit pick and issue functions.
Responsible for the compliance requirements unique to individual stockrooms: including, but not limited to, ESD, hazardous material, time & temperature sensitive materials, CFM, CFM Controls, and clean room environment. Performs periodic self‑audits and inventory reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy. Supports the efforts of an independent inventory audit function as requested.
Review and maintain program kitting schedules, aligns daily work assignments in accordance with kitting schedule and manufacturing need dates. Must assist Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Production Control and Quality as needed to resolve any inventory discrepancies, stock sweeps, or MRB material. Works with Receiving Dock to deliver materials classified as line stoppers to manufacturing floor.
Unloads all types of incoming material from freight cars, trucks, and other carriers. Checks incoming materials for visible signs of damage, filling out appropriate damage reports as required. Checks packing slip/BOL to ensure receipt of all listed material and signs for delivery receipt.
Maintains ERP system by updating performing systemic transactions when physical movement of material is moved into WIP. Catalog movements in hard copy formats. Move, transport and record fulfillment orders for SLED materials to the production floor and labs upon request. Affix batch labels and kit stickers to MPPs supplied by CADCUT.
Maintains records of all contract tools, general purpose tools and special tools and equipment stored in tool cribs showing receipt, location, and disbursement utilizing mechanized system. Delivers or issues production tools stored in tool crib when necessary.
Maintains computerized database indicating status, tool usage and tool consumption and reorders tools as required.
Responsible for the security, housekeeping, and space utilization within assigned areas.

HS Diploma/GED equivalent.
Requires total knowledge of any ERP systems that corresponds to all inventory transactions is preferred.
Must be able to comprehend system logic and conduct problem solving.

Must be able to generate status reports and maintain kitting schedules.
Requires a thorough knowledge of manufacturing and production methods and procedures and the ability to interpret fairly complicated blueprints and specifications to effectively machine load or expedite the processing of materials, parts and assemblies in accordance with production schedules.
Forklift Operations Experience Is Strongly Preferred.
