Job Overview
Responsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.
Roles Description
Develop specialized knowledge in the discipline; serve as best practice/quality resource; bring awareness of latest technical developments; contribute to strategy and policy development, ensuring delivery within area of responsibility.
Have in-depth knowledge of best practices and integration with others; working knowledge of competition and differentiating factors.
Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks in operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering; take new perspective on existing solutions; use technical experience for data analysis to support recommendations; use internal and limited external sources beyond own function.
Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; lead small projects with moderate risks; explain difficult or sensitive information; build consensus; develop persuasion skills to influence others.
Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation of new DT tools to support QMS processes, ensuring alignment with goals and driving process improvements.
Act as a deliverable owner: manage project timelines, identify risks, raise issues, propose mitigation strategies.
Facilitate communication across stakeholder organizations to ease transition to new applications and align priorities.
Utilize FLIGHT DECK tools to drive project execution, including Action Planning, Problem Solving, Operating Cadences, and Value Stream Management.
Assist in development and execution of production release cutover, ensuring readiness for Go‑Live.
Collaborate across multiple business organizations, including Quality Systems and Digital Technology, to deliver results.
Provide periodic status updates to senior leadership, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Contribute to improvement and transformation of QMS and DT systems, supporting Zero Defect Culture and enhanced operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Outside the USA: significant experience in Project Management & Quality; knowledge comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university (or high school diploma with relevant experience).
In the USA: Master’s degree from an accredited university (or high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in relevant job family/group).
