Position Summary Business Development – Raleigh, NC Metro Region

What You Bring to the Table

5+ years of business development experience in a service‑driven, B2B context – ideally in architecture, engineering, construction or related fields.

Proven success engaging C‑Suite leaders & key stakeholders using a trust‑first approach.

Deep knowledge of the North Carolina market and a strong local network of architects, owners and developers.

CRM‑savvy with a data‑driven pipeline of pipeline and relationship management.

A natural communicator – confident, articulate and persuasive in written and oral form.

Strategic thinker & self‑starter enjoys autonomy & accountability.

Willingness to travel locally & regionally, attend events, represent HEAPY outside normal hours when needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintains a clear knowledge of HEAPY vision, mission and core values.

Approaches every assigned tasks as growth opportunities.

Aligns with HEAPY profitability goals and sales strategies.

Manages of existing pipeline & develops new prospects, setting and achieving sales velocity, volumes & growth.

Open new doors to customers with appropriate contact & deliverables.

Searches trends & needs.

Coordinate & track services delivery to ensure client satisfaction.

Monitors trends & driver and track with management.

Leads proposals & presentations to grow new prospects.

Manages proposal for RFP, content and cross‑source.

Interacts with Marketing for new business material.

Updates knowledge through education /events.

Coordinate & sync with national, practice, CSO.

Manages Capture plan with national & practice direction.

Records into Deltak system, coordinating & strategizing.

Opportunit to upsell & coordinate.

Represents culture & morale & interact with customer.

Engages with client feedback.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

5 + years business development experience.

Proven success engaging C‑Suite leadership.

Knowledgie of local market, strong network.

CRM‑savvy, data‑driven pipeline.

Strong written and spoken communicator.

Autonomous & accountable thinker.
