NorthBridge Partners and NBCRE Property Management are seeking an initiative‑taking, results‑driven Facilities Management professional to support a portfolio of industrial properties across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This position requires daily travel between multiple property locations and provides hands‑on maintenance, property oversight, and tenant service. The ideal candidate is skilled in routine facility repairs, able to diagnose building issues, and committed to delivering high‑quality service to tenants and property management teams. This is an entry‑level role with significant opportunities for career development and growth within a rapidly expanding real‑estate platform. This position reports to the local NorthBridge property management team and requires strong communication skills, professionalism, ownership mentality, and the ability to collaborate within a distributed team environment. Residence in or near the Central Philadelphia region is strongly preferred due to portfolio proximity. Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day supervision and maintenance oversight for a portfolio of industrial properties in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Develop a strong working knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, energy management, and life‑safety systems. Safely operate a company vehicle to travel between sites; maintain compliance with all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and routine vehicle checks. Driving is an essential function of this role. Deliver exceptional customer service to tenants through timely, professional communication and high‑quality maintenance execution. Create, maintain, and execute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspection schedules in collaboration with property management. Monitor and maintain all building systems to ensure first‑class operational condition. Conduct periodic inspections and audits related to preventative maintenance, loss control, hazardous materials, OSHA compliance, water treatment and record‑keeping. Complete work orders accurately and within established service‑time expectations. Lead weekly scheduling meetings and coordinate maintenance requirements across properties. Ensure all work performed meets applicable code requirements and adheres to NorthBridge standards for quality, safety, and cost‑effectiveness. Support tenant safety and comfort while identifying and eliminating recurring issues. Follow up with tenants to confirm all service requests meet quality and satisfaction standards. Ensure preventative maintenance activities are scheduled and performed effectively. Meet with vendors and contractors on site frequently, conduct walkthroughs, and support vendor coordination. Assist with construction plan reviews and provide operational insight for capital improvement projects. Respond promptly to emergency situations, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate appropriate vendor response. Assist with obtaining bids for repairs and capital improvements. Qualifications
Prior facilities management experience preferred; industrial property experience is a plus. Residence in or near Central Philadelphia strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain a safe, clean driving record; daily driving of a company vehicle is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with tenants, vendors, and internal teams. Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, and life‑safety standards preferred. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, schematics, and equipment manuals. Proficiency with computers, mobile apps, and work‑order systems. Customer‑service oriented, with a strong focus on quality, professionalism, and accountability. Ability to respond to after‑hours emergencies when needed. Proficient use of hand and power tools; ability to work on ladders, staging, and lifts. Ability to solve practical problems and handle multiple concrete variables in standardized situations. Strong judgment and ability to work independently while representing NorthBridge professionally. Competencies
