Overview V2X Inc is seeking an MRP Planner/Scheduler for our Indianapolis site. The Planner/Scheduler applies material management principles and develops solutions across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Repair Planning.

Responsibilities

Master Data Management: Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and other master data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Production Planning & Coordination: Monitor material availability, coordinate activities between groups, and keep teams focused on factory priorities.

Work Order Management: Analyze production schedules and release work orders to the factory floor.

Data Integrity & Discrepancy Reporting: Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in inventory, material availability, and production records.

SAP S/4HANA Support: Provide technical support to end‑users, troubleshoot issues, and develop training documentation for new functionalities.

Communication & Reporting: Provide status updates on program progress to management and update information within SAP.

Perform related work as required.

Required Skills

Material planning and order execution experience.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Extremely proficient with production planning systems, specifically MRP.

Understanding of production planning concepts including MRP and inventory management (SAP S/4HANA or similar).

Ability to read and understand requirements detailed on drawings.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills

Experience supporting operations within a depot‑level repair environment.

Familiarity with the unique requirements and processes of government contracts and programs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines and effectively communicate within a teaming environment.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Education Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or related field or a minimum of four years of relevant work experience in a production and/or depot repair environment.
