Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing the entire housekeeping area, including public areas and night cleaning, for a 1200+ room, two‑tower property.

Ensure safety and security policies and procedures are followed.

Manage housekeeping and laundry supplies and par systems.

Provide experience with turndown service and the special needs of VIP guests, foreign dignitaries, etc.

Staff training, development, and scheduling.

Promote an engaging atmosphere, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold Hyatt's values.

Report directly to the Executive Housekeeper, exercising strong attention to detail and the ability to work with guests, other departments, and team members.

Compensation Salary range: $65,000 – $70,000.

Qualifications

2–3 years of progressive hotel rooms management experience

Proficient in Opera, Kronos and Birchstreet

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment

Refined verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds

Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset

High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, excellent customer service, and ability to improve the bottom line

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills

Previous experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements
