Nurse Manager Assistant – Inpatient Oncology – Full-Time Nights

Responsibilities
Interprets, supports, and communicates policies, standards and procedures.
Serves as a role model for staff in all aspects of nursing (i.e., professionalism, quality care).
Assists in identifying cost containment measures by identifying alternative measures of product utilization within the department.
Serves on‑call based on unit requirements.
Assumes special projects as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Qualifications
Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
BSN required; MSN preferred.
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required.
Demonstrated clinical competence with a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required.
Oncology nursing experience preferred.
Chemotherapy/biotherapy certification preferred.
National Certification acceptable to the Magnet Recognition Program and appropriate to your current specialty (within two years of hire).
Prior assistant manager or supervisor experience preferred.
The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care and service based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.
Compensation & Benefits Minimum rate of $112,114.08 annually. In addition to our compensation for full‑time and part‑time (20+ hours/week) job positions, HMH offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.
