Interpret, support, and communicate policies, standards, and procedures. Serve as a role model for staff in all aspects of nursing (i.e., professionalism, quality care). Assist in identifying cost containment measures by identifying alternative measures of product utilization within the department. Serve on‑call based on unit requirements. Assume special projects as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Adhere to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior. Qualifications

Required: A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree. BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire (note this applies to candidates hired on or after February 2025). Note: Advanced masters degree in nursing programs satisfy the BSN requirement (i.e., Associates to MSN). Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in respective specialty or equivalent. Exceptions may be made for internal candidates on a case‑by‑case basis (i.e., the candidate has a history of hospital administration education/experience). Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of patients and caregivers, exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education, and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus. Preferred: MSN. Supervisory or charge nurse experience. Licenses and Certifications Required: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification. National Certification acceptable to the Magnet Recognition Program and appropriate to your current specialty (within two years of hire). Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
