Manufacturing Network and Controls Engineer
Maintain and support plant automation systems including PLCs, PanelView HMIs, robots, and servo drive controls—handling updates, upgrades, and program back-ups. Create, update, and organize all required equipment documentation (PLCs, PanelView, robotics, servo drives). Prepare and revise electrical schematics using AutoCAD. Support and deliver PLC/electronics training to internal teams as needed. Partner closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues. Provide guidance to peers and help reinforce SOPs, best practices, and safe work standards. Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes. Assist in planning and executing equipment modifications and automation enhancements. Serve as a technical resource for PLC programming and controls support across all plant operations. Recommend improvements to equipment performance, production efficiency, and product quality. Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental standards (HSE, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001) and Quality Management System expectations (IATF 16949). Follow all company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook. Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive experience highly valued. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Advanced AutoCAD expertise; experience with SolidWorks is a plus. Hands‑on experience with PLC diagnostics and programming (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley preferred). Results‑oriented with a strong drive for continuous learning and development. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and support the growth of others. Seniority level
