Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Recruitment Consultant | Controls Engineering & Automation Talent | Detroit Metro Area, Michigan This role requires strong experience with PLC platforms—particularly Allen‑Bradley, and Siemens. The job involves hands‑on system development, working closely with controls systems and hardware integration, and collaboration to define automation needs and turn them into reliable production‑floor solutions.
Electrical design - diagrams, panel drawings, wiring schematics etc.
Design PLC ladder logic supporting the controls interface
Lead design reviews in house and with the customer
Develop BOM
Upgrades and repairs to controls equipment
Perform equipment start up
Ability to travel 35% for project implementation
Must be able to work weekends and overtime when required
Skills & Requirements
Experience with Rockwell PLC (ControlLogix and CompactLogix), ideally with Siemens, Automation Direct and HMI experience too
Expert knowledge of ladder logic architecture
At least 5 years of experience in PLC Programming and commissioning new equipment with motion control
AutoCAD Electrical experience
Knowledge of controls devices (sensors, switches, frequency, servo drives, I/O)
Skilled working in a team environment
