Job Summary:
Bituminous Roadways, Inc. (BR) is a growing and established union highway/heavy contractor looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in project communication and project success in our large projects (Target, Home Depot, etc.). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, be detail oriented, and will understand the importance of documentation.

Job Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with Bituminous Roadways’ project superintendent and project manager as well as other subcontractors.
Take responsibility for guest and employee safety by assisting with traffic control. Relocate barrels, type III barricades, cones, and caution tape as needed to maintain a safe and secure work site.
Immediately report any safety incidents to the site superintendent, project superintendent, and the safety manager.
Conduct morning and afternoon progress updates with the owner’s onsite management team.
Measure, document, and identify all types of repairs including quantities.
Including asphalt, concrete, electrical, utilities and landscape.
Use pictures to identify depths, densities, and temperatures.
Retain and communicate to Superintendent running totals of all the different types and quantities of repair to ensure accurate architype repairs are completed per drawings.
Oversee subcontractors to ensure work is completed by plan and on schedule.
Identify any sub-standard work and coordinate repairs. Ensure the subcontractors conduct themselves appropriately.
Produce/upload daily PowerPoints and QC forms for all daily activities. Send completed report to project manager daily.
Assist with the weekly PowerPoint recap.
Responsible for leading the owner or owner’s representative through the project progress tour. Ensure any issues are brought to their attention.
Use resources and critical thinking to problem solve.
Collect scale tickets for asphalt and concrete.
Help promote a culture that encourages safe behavior for all team members and reinforces the achievement of safety goals and objectives.
Requirements
All candidates are required to pass a thorough Background Check, Physical and Drug Test. References will also be checked.
Must be available to work 40 hours per week with mandatory overtime as required by the projects schedule. Nights and weekends may be required.
Must be able to use an IPAD and apps.
