Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Full‑Time Software Engineer. In this role you will participate in all phases of the System Software lifecycle, from supporting initial system design concepts, software requirements development, design, implementation, integration and test, to writing automated test scripts, tools, and software that runs on the F‑35. You should have experience and/or knowledge of the C++ programming language, object‑oriented design, and familiarity with Unix or Linux.

Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor Or above Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a STEM Discipline

Experience developing software to run in a Linux Operating Systems

Experience with C++ language

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time – The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level : Secret
