Litigation Attorney - Harris Personal Injury Lawyers (Fresno)
Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as point of contact for the resolution of client issues and complaints Provide legal guidance for clients Meet with clients to review potential settlement offers and assist in reaching resolution of claims Ability to travel to and from firm appearances/engagements Effectively negotiate settlements including all aspects of liability and damages Develop strategic approach and provide leadership/direction to paralegals Diligent review of court filings and related litigation documents Actively manage a wide range of pre-litigation and litigation cases both directly and through a team Perform legal research on relevant issues during the pre-litigation process and throughout the course of litigation Propound and respond to discovery Prepare summons, complaints, and other responsive pleadings for filing with the appropriate court Attend mediation, depositions, and other court appearances Review and edit demands Qualifications: License to practice law in California and current good standing with CA State Bar is required Must possess excellent interpersonal and social skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with Personal Injury terminology Bilingual is preferred (English/Spanish) *Salary range between $100,000 - $175,000 (depending on experience)
