Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys to join their team in handling cases across Northern, Southern, and Central California regions. The ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense, with the ability to manage a full caseload of cases of varying complexity. This is a fully remote position offering a competitive salary. Location: Glendale, CA. Duties: Manage a diverse caseload of workers' compensation defense cases. Represent clients in workers' compensation matters, including claims and litigation. Provide expert legal counsel and advice to clients regarding workers' compensation claims. Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements. Appear in hearings and trials as necessary. Negotiate settlements and assist with case strategy development. Maintain clear communication with clients and colleagues, ensuring case progress is tracked and updates are provided. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation defense. Strong understanding of California workers' compensation laws and regulations. Proven experience managing a full caseload of workers' compensation cases. Ability to work independently in a remote work environment. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active license to practice law in California. Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
