We are actively seeking a results-driven New Business Developer with a strong background in the produce industry to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, business development, and client acquisition within the fresh produce or perishable goods sector. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, expanding company and is passionate about building long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities Identify and secure new business opportunities within the produce industry, including both foodservice and retail channels. Develop relationships with broadline foodservice distributors, regional, and national retail chains. Utilize market knowledge to expand customer base across multiple states where we currently deliver. Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain, logistics, and service capabilities to meet client expectations. Procurement experience is a plus - sourcing and negotiating produce supply for clients will be considered a valuable asset. Provide strategic input as we expand operations, upgrade facilities, and add fleet capacity to better serve new and existing clients. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of business development or sales experience in the produce or perishable goods industry. Existing relationships with foodservice providers or grocery retailers. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
