Job Title: Senior Manager / Director — Data Engineering & Analytics (AI/GenAI)
Work Location: SFO, CA (Hybrid)
Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager/Director to lead our Data Engineering and Analytics organization with a strong focus on AI and Generative AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, proven leadership abilities, and a strong background in building scalable data platforms, advanced analytics solutions, and AI-driven architectures. This role will be responsible for driving the strategic vision, execution, and innovation across data engineering, BI/analytics, and AI/GenAI programs.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in handling Data Engineering, Data Architects, Analytics, and AI/ML.
Drive adoption and integration of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions into business workflows and product offerings.
Establish data governance, data quality, security, and compliance frameworks.
Evaluate emerging technologies in big data, cloud platforms, MLOps, and GenAI, and introduce best practices.
Strong hands-on expertise with modern data ecosystems:
Data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks)
Data lakes/lakehouse platforms
ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, dbt, Informatica, etc.)
Real-time data processing (Kafka, Spark, Flink)
Proven experience implementing AI/ML and Generative AI solutions at enterprise scale.
Deep understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data platform architectures.
Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistical modeling, advanced analytics, and ML Ops.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
