General Manager – Dining Operations – Compass Group USA
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year. Bonus potential and full benefits.
Job Summary Compass Group is adding a General Manager – Dining Operations. The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task, strong team leadership, client relations, and the ability to ensure superior food quality and strong customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
Manage overall day-to-day operations of the account
Conduct HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations
Oversee scheduling, payroll and team training
Maintain excellent relationships with customers, guests, and clients as well as other departments
Work with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food
Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
Preferred Qualifications
BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
Five years of foodservice operations leadership experience
High volume production and catering experience is essential
Previous experience managing a budgetDesire to learn and grow with a top-notch foodservice company
