Running a distribution center is a bit like orchestrating a living, breathing ecosystem where people, product, process, and purpose all move in harmony. You’ll own end-to-end operations for our Distribution Center, guiding a talented team, refining workflows, and shaping the systems that ensure our gear reaches people who love and protect the outdoors. What you will do Operational Leadership
Oversee daily planning, organizing, leading, and controlling activities across the Distribution Center
Lead Area Managers and staff while building a strong, engaged team culture
Resolve employee and customer concerns with clarity and professionalism
Ensure warehouse operations align with broader supply chain and logistics goals
Strategic and Financial Management
Manage to budget, revenue, and performance targets
Drive cost optimization through lean principles and process improvements
Own the site‑level P&L and ensure financial stewardship
Inventory and Capacity Planning
Support forecasting and replenishment strategies across functions
Contribute to SOP processes, capacity planning, and inventory placement
Improve stock visibility, accuracy, and flow through technology and metrics
Continuous Improvement and Compliance
Champion safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency
Lead and support automation, layout redesigns, and system upgrades
Prepare and analyze operational performance reports to inform decision‑making
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with internal teams to meet goals around delivery, cost, and quality
Participate in network optimization projects, including routing efficiency and layout design
Negotiate and maintain optimized agreements with outbound carriers
What you bring
5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations
At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial leadership role
Comprehensive background across Fulfillment, Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing
A true operational GM mindset: entrepreneurial, curious, and always asking “what if?”
Strong analytical skills with comfort in data, KPIs, and operational metrics
Experience building high‑performing, collaborative teams
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and develop clear strategies and contingency plans
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities
Proficiency with WMS, ERP, TMS, and similar systems
Preferred (but not required)
Four‑year degree, or equivalent work experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience implementing automation or large‑scale process redesign
Background in multi‑site operations or network planning
