Job Description Summary:

The Commercial Strategy Manager plays a critical role in driving strategic initiatives across Breakthru’s commercial organization. This position provides robust project management support and thought partnership to key workstreams—including Commercial Strategy & Sales Excellence, Digital, Supplier Business Development, and National Accounts—ensuring alignment, progress, and high-quality execution.

The Manager also contributes to the development of Breakthru’s multi-year commercial roadmap by collaborating with the Senior Director, Commercial Strategy and cross-functional teams to assess opportunities, conduct analysis, build presentations, and shape strategic recommendations that support sustainable, profitable growth.

The ideal candidate brings consulting experience, with the ability to apply structured problem solving, analytical rigor, and executive-ready communication skills in a dynamic environment.

Job Description This role follows a flexible hybrid schedule, with two days per week in the office and three days working from home. This role can be performed from any Breakthru Beverage Office Location.

Job Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of Breakthru’s multi-year commercial roadmap:

Perform detailed quantitative (market analysis, consumer trends, etc.) and qualitative (case studies, surveys, etc.) analyses to support project work and recommendation development

Develop analytical approaches to transform information into thoughtful, actionable insights

Develop commercially viable solutions & recommendations to problems we are trying to solve

Build “executive ready” presentations for Executive Team and Board of Managers’ to effectively communicate findings & strategy recommendations to Leadership & Ownership

Conduct on‑going industry analyses to identify commercial opportunities for BBG (e.g., Route‑to‑Market, Portfolio, Customer, Consumer)

Support the coordination and execution of strategic commercial workstreams:

Support commercial leadership through project management and thought partnership on a variety of commercial workstreams including Trade Development, Analytics & Commercial Capabilities

Support selected workstreams through strategic analysis, presentation development and delivery of business case recommendations

Effectively manage stakeholders and timelines to ensure key deliverables are completed on time & at a high level

Support Supplier Business Development & National Account teams on critical projects

Lead RFP and Pitch Response (nationally and locally) from timeline & stakeholder management, analytics support and presentation building in partnership with SBD Team & Markets

Support the streamlining and enhancement of supplier facing communications (e.g., Top to Tops, Supplier pitches and defenses, RFPs, etc.) to create efficiencies & increase consistency

Support the National Accounts organization on key strategic priorities

Strategic Analysis & Development:

Serve as internal consultant and business partner to BBG Commercial Organization & Leadership Team

Effectively respond to time‑sensitive requests for ad‑hoc analyses; translate business inquiries into actionable reports and presentations on behalf of Commercial Organization

Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer, competitive & macroeconomic trends that could impact BBG’s business

Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience

Minimum of 5 years of business experience

Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software, Strong Emphasis on PowerPoint, and MS Excel

Ability to communicate effectively to various audiences & augment the messaging / content accordingly

Ability to access, organize and analyze complex data sets to identify thoughtful and actionable trends & insights

Ability to communicate findings verbally & visually through high‑quality “Executive Ready” PowerPoint decks & verbal presentations

Analytic and Reporting skills

Utilize sound judgement and problem‑solving skills

Ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑volume, team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Management and or Executive Communication experience

Project Management Experience

Prior Consulting Experience

Knowledge of the 3Tier System, and prior Beverage Alcohol Experience

Experience Utilizing Syndicated Date Sources (ie., Nielsen) for analysis

MBA

Salary and Benefit Statement Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.

Salary Range: $ - $130,000.00

This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program. Metrics and level of participation are determined annually.

This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan
