Responsibilities / Key Deliverables
Develop and lead sales strategy, mission, and annual financial objectives
Manage both inside and outside sales teams, ensuring strong performance and alignment with business goals
Coordinate with Operations to match capacity with demand and customer needs
Drive key account management, maintaining and growing major customer relationships
Report on sales performance (monthly, quarterly, annually) to executive leadership
Provide strategic input for business planning, risk management, and financial forecasting
Evaluate long‑range growth opportunities, new markets, and regulatory impacts
Deliver financial analysis on sales, budgeting, and market trends
Collaborate on contract negotiations and commercial terms
Improve sales processes, policies, and performance metrics
Provide coaching and leadership to sales staff; set expectations and performance measures
Represent the company at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications & Experience)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
15+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
10+ years in leadership or management in a sales capacity
Proven track record in business development, sales planning, and execution
Strong strategic and analytical thinking capabilities
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills—comfortable engaging with global customers
Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain talent
Willingness to travel 25-50% domestically and internationally
Understanding of ITAR/EAR export regulations preferred
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
What the Role Demands
May climb ladders, bend, or crawl in manufacturing areas
A combination of office work and time on the production floor
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Ability to stand or sit for long periods and perform repetitive motions
Frequent communication across teams and organizational levels
