The opportunity The AI Finance Senior Manager is a crucial role responsible for supporting the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the overall data management strategy for finance applications. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in finance applications (planning, reporting, close/consolidation) coupled with enterprise data management, data governance, data quality, master data management, Machine Learning, and Generative AI (Gen AI) to support key finance personas. One key responsibility is developing and implementing the “FDL consulting blueprint” service offering, creating an industry‑agnostic data model that ensures data consistency and interoperability across finance applications.
Your Key Responsibilities
Work closely with finance, IT, and data science teams to support effective management and utilization of finance application data, harnessing Machine Learning, Gen AI, and Azure data technologies to drive innovation and business value.
Lead the design and delivery of system architecture solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
Tailor technology platforms to business processes, ensuring clients maximize their investment through continuous improvement.
Manage complex processes, solutions, and projects while maintaining focus on quality and risk management.
Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships, ensuring high‑quality service and timely delivery.
Support execution of the overall data management strategy for finance applications, including data modeling, architecture, and governance.
Develop and maintain documentation such as data dictionaries, entity‑relationship diagrams, and data lineage maps.
Collaborate with data scientists and finance service line managers to identify opportunities for ML and Gen AI in finance applications.
Travel as required for client engagements.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum seven years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, scenario analysis, variance analysis, and reporting.
Strong proficiency with Enterprise Performance Management platforms such as Anaplan, Oracle EPM Cloud Suite (PBCS, ePBCS, FCCS), Oracle Hyperion, OneStream, Tagetik, or similar.
Solid understanding of financial data architecture, governance, dimensional modeling, chart of accounts, data quality, and master data management.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Commercial awareness and relationship management skills.
Preferred
Degree emphasis in Economics, MIS, or IT.
Proven adaptability to changing technologies and industry trends.
Experience leading diverse teams in dynamic environments.
Proactive problem‑solving and decision‑making approach.
