Overview The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring that the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The role works with leadership to set the restaurant’s goals and create a plan to achieve them. To meet those goals, the General Manager leads a team of Assistant Managers and Shift Managers, coaching them to improve their departments and drive overall restaurant performance.
Responsibilities
Run a profitable restaurant while meeting McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
Set restaurant goals in partnership with lower‑level managers and create actionable plans.
Lead Assistant Managers and Shift Managers, providing coaching, direction, and performance feedback.
Hire and develop department and shift managers to build a strong leadership team.
Qualifications
Prior General Manager experience operating high‑volume quick‑service restaurants.
Strong background in hospitality, retail, or related service industry.
Minimum age 18 years, meeting corporate ownership requirements.
