Manager, Warehouse
Responsible for the warehouse management function relating to the planning, storage, control and distribution of materials and products to meet company objectives and customer requirements in a high‑volume multi‑site environment. This involves directing and administering shipping, receiving, and inventory control by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, coordinates and manages personnel and activities to ensure effective and efficient receiving, shipping, storage, and issuance of materials while continuously striving for improvement in all material processes.
- Develops and maintains warehouse material storage, flow, and delivery to the production lines.
- Maintains all inventories of components and finished goods to ensure accuracy.
- Supervises physical inventory in warehouses of responsibility.
- Motivates and develops subordinates; oversees their performance and personal and professional growth.
- Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, and safety.
- Maintains a quality work environment including good housekeeping (e.g., 6S).
- Ensures established policy, rules, regulations and procedures are followed.
- Tracks departmental metrics against goals, drives improvement actions to resolution, and maintains departmental scorecard, ensuring compliance to plant and corporate goals.
- Interfaces with other divisions and operations to ensure timely and accurate receipt and issuance of all material.
- Coordinates the timely, accurate, damage‑free shipments of all products.
- Recommends and implements measures to improve warehouse methods, equipment and space utilization performance.
- Develops and adheres to warehouse policies, procedures and instructions according to IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 Quality Management Systems.
- Ensures budgetary goals are accomplished.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ATC Drivetrain policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred.
- Five years of experience in a multi‑warehouse environment with large warehouses (100,000 sf or larger).
- Experience with layout arrangements for maximum efficiencies.
- Experience in selecting appropriate storage solutions and material handling equipment.
- Lean manufacturing experience to ensure efficient delivery of products to operations.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite and computerized materials management systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Certifications in APIC or Purchasing Management highly desirable.
