Job Title Bottling Technician II (PM Shift)
Location San Diego - BioLegend
Essential Functions
Assist in performing various bottling related tasks to include dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles, and assembly of kits
Formulate products per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions including multi‑component cocktail formulations
Verify formulation worksheets to ensure that information such as concentrations, lot numbers etc. are correct
Put away finished goods products according to their designated temperature conditions
Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel
Set‑up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations
Operate computer‑controlled process support/process equipment (i.e., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machine, etc.)
Follow instructions for completion of job tasks
Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines
Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment and supplies
May perform data entry and production documentation completion tasks
Other projects or responsibilities as may be required
Minimum Qualifications – Education And Experience
High school diploma/GED or some college
1 year of experience in a relevant biotech manufacturing industry
6 months of experience with automatic filling machines
Preferred Qualifications – Education And Experience
Aseptic Technique in biosafety cabinet
Demonstrated high levels of teamwork, quality, and productivity
Base Salary The base salary range for this full‑time position is $21.00 – $23.80 per hour.
Work Environment & Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a laboratory environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
