Base pay range $58,000.00/yr - $83,000.00/yr

Position Summary The Revenue Cycle Manager (RCM) – Insurance & Accounts Receivable (A/R) is responsible for leading a defined functional area within the RCM department.

The Manager provides day‑to‑day leadership to their team, drives performance against key operational metrics, ensures compliance with payer and regulatory requirements, and partners closely with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare billing, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in improving revenue cycle metrics.

This position oversees payer follow‑up, claim resolution, patient account collections, and the reduction of aged accounts receivable.

The Manager ensures timely and accurate follow‑up, develops strategies to improve recovery rates, and collaborates with coding and billing teams to reduce recurring issues.

This role is critical to SENTA’s overall success in achieving its vision of becoming the industry‑leading organization for ENT & Allergy physicians.

Key Responsibilities

Manage performance, workflow planning, staffing, training, and disciplinary actions.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with payers and clients; serve as the escalation point for complex claim issues.

Oversee follow‑up for unpaid or denied insurance claims.

Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and timely resolution of outstanding A/R.

Implement strategies to reduce aged accounts and improve collection efficiency.

Identify reimbursement opportunities and address payer or patient outliers across markets.

Collaborate with billing coding teams to prevent recurring issues.

Create and maintain SOPs for follow‑up activities.

Maximize use of available technologies to improve workflow and increase collections.

Prepare regular reports on claim status, denial trends, recovery performance, and other KPIs.

Monitor performance measures including days in A/R, denial turnaround time, and collection rates.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory requirements.

Monitor payer policy changes and communicate updates to the team.

Requirements & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum 4 years in insurance follow‑up, A/R management, or medical billing experience required.

Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.

Strong understanding of payer processes, denial resolution, and collections strategy.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and improve A/R KPIs.

Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.

Proficiency with billing systems, claims clearinghouses, and reporting tools.
