Purpose of Role The Pilates School Faculty is responsible for delivering high-quality Pilates instruction to students, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of classical Pilates techniques and principles. The Pilates School Faculty contributes directly to the educational goals of the Pilates School by fostering a supportive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Instruction: Deliver engaging and informative Pilates classes to students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the Program Director to develop and refine the Pilates curriculum.
Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their physical development and matriculation through the Pilates School Program.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and workshops to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with industry trends.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate daily SOAP notes and engage in administrative projects that contribute to the school's vision to be the premiere classical education-driven school of practice.
Performance Expectations
Student Engagement: Maintain high levels of student engagement and satisfaction as measured by feedback and attendance.
Curriculum Implementation: Successfully implement the curriculum and achieve learning outcomes as outlined by the Associate Dean and Dean.
Technical Skills
Proficient in classical Pilates techniques and principles.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in a Pilates or fitness setting.
Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Classical Pilates certification preferred.
Working Conditions This is a full-time position based in San Francisco with standard working hours. Occasional weekend or evening classes may be required.
