Specific Responsibilities
Support demand forecasting across brands in the US HIV PrEP business, including daily and long‑acting oral(s) and long‑acting injectable(s), and monthly Actual vs Forecast (AvF) reporting.
Support Gilead’s quarterly Latest Estimate (LE) forecasting for US HIV PrEP, developing forecast scenario analyses and highlighting key risks and opportunities to characterize forecast uncertainties and critical drivers for executive leadership.
Prepare the quarterly CCO Binder and earnings deliverables for HIV PrEP with the Executive Director.
Analyze secondary data sources (e.g., IQVIA script data, Ipsos audit data, NHANES epidemiology data, claims data) to glean insights that inform strategy and recommendation.
Collaborate within HIV Integrated Insights on key forecast inputs, including market research and commercial analytics, and with cross‑functional partners such as US sales analytics/field‑force assumptions and global forecasting colleagues.
Regularly communicate analytical findings and projections related to forecasting, inventory management, and essential performance metrics.
Lead performance reporting and diagnostics, designing and implementing HQ‑facing dashboards and reports.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline business operations and improve technical capabilities, driving forecasting innovation and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industry; BS degree (or higher) in life sciences or medicine; advanced degrees desirable.
Strong prior experience in demand/revenue forecasting in biotech/pharma and a foundation in HIV or virology therapy areas.
Demonstrated ability to influence without formal authority and remain calm under pressure.
Persuasive written and verbal communication, ability to lead, influence, resolve conflict, and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
Proven experience in storytelling and data visualization to communicate complex analytics clearly to senior management, with deep understanding of market trends and best practices.
Track record of delivering multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel) for presenting quantitative data graphically.
Evidence of project leadership and project management, including planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management, and execution.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and ten years’ experience.
Master’s Degree and eight years’ experience.
PhD and two years’ experience.

Salary Range:
$195,670 – $253,220 (base)
