Area Operations Director – Modernization (Southwest)
Join us to lead the modernization of elevator operations across the Southwest region as an Area Operations Director at TK Elevator.
What We Expect
Drive safety culture across the organization, including safety training, audits, and emphasis on safety for all employees.
Lead area modernization processes from booking to turnover, coordinating with AVP and branch management.
Review P&L and financial reports to ensure monthly budgetary goals are met or exceeded.
Plan, direct, and prioritize elevator modernizations, ensuring efficient, cost‑effective operations; supervise project managers and use project‑management software.
Visit job sites to assess progress, troubleshoot, conduct quality audits, and meet with contractors.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Implement and oversee strategic fade initiatives, including bid participation and profitability optimization.
Approve change orders, purchase orders, authorizations, and maintain financial and operational records.
Collaborate with corporate departments and the factory, serving as main contact for area modernization.
Provide field crew oversight or special project responsibilities as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicles Report.
10+ years of upper‑level management experience in the elevator industry, with specific modernization product line expertise.
Strong analytical skills, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
Excellent interpretive and technical communication skills.
