We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of food quality, exceptional customer service, and efficient management of staff. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties
Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high-quality standards. Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels and manage ordering processes to minimize waste. Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in customer service and food handling. Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce. Implement effective shift management strategies to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Foster a positive work environment through team management and leadership initiatives. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain satisfaction. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures. Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Experience in staff training, development, and performance evaluation. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen management practices. Ability to manage inventory control efficiently while minimizing costs. Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team building and motivation. Previous experience in fine dining, casual dining, quick service & fast food restaurants is advantageous. Knowledge of culinary arts or hospitality management is preferred. Experience with catering services or banquet management is a plus.
