Director of Nursing – Long-Term Care Facility
The Director of Nursing (DON) will oversee all nursing operations in a long-term care facility serving older adults. This hands‑on leadership role involves managing staff, ensuring high-quality care, maintaining compliance, and supporting day-to-day operational management.

Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all nursing staff across 3 shifts, supporting morale, professional development, and accountability
Oversee resident care, including assessments, admissions appropriateness, documentation, and incident management
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Support facility operations, including governance, policy updates, and staff hiring processes
Serve as a point of contact for families, tours, and admissions‑related discussions once fully onboarded
Skills & Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum 3 years long‑term care experience; 2+ years in a supervisory role
Experience with geriatric care and multi‑shift nursing leadership
Knowledge of incident management, policy development, and documentation standards
Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email, messaging) and familiarity with EMR systems preferred
Familiarity with state systems: Virtual Gateway, vaccination tracking portals, Mass Mutual Aid Emergency Plan tools
Doctoral degree preferred, but extensive experience in LTC leadership accepted
Must be comfortable commuting to Wrentham, MA Monday‑Friday
