We are conducting a search for an experienced Site Manager to lead the full operational performance of our facility in Alabama.
The Site Manager will oversee all site operations, ensuring safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This individual will act as the primary on‑site authority, responsible for managing the workforce, coordinating daily activities, maintaining compliance with customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, high‑volume automotive logistics environment.

Position Overview The Site Manager will oversee all site operations, ensuring safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. This individual will act as the primary on‑site authority, responsible for managing the workforce, coordinating daily activities, maintaining compliance with customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, high‑volume automotive logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations for vehicle accessory installation, long‑term maintenance, and scanner system processes.
Ensure full alignment with customer specifications, production schedules, and HAL standards.
Monitor workflow efficiency, resolve bottlenecks, and guarantee timely, high‑quality execution.
Deliver consistent performance across production, safety, and quality metrics.
Lead a multi‑shift workforce, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and performance management.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety across all levels.
Support employees through coaching, clear expectations, and recognition of strong performance.
Enforce QHSE protocols and client compliance standards.
Conduct safety audits and ensure all operations follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
Promote a proactive safety culture with zero tolerance for violations.
Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, labor utilization, downtime, and scanner efficiency.
Analyze data trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Present operational performance reports and lead root cause analysis for deviations.
Act as the primary liaison with Mercedes‑Benz and other client representatives.
Manage communication, expectations, and issue resolution with professionalism and transparency.
Participate in customer audits, process reviews, and improvement projects.
Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Identify improvement opportunities across quality, cost, and delivery processes.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee involvement in problem‑solving.
Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, Quality, and Procurement to ensure smooth operations and adequate support.
Contribute to budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning for operational growth.
Maintain accurate operational documentation, including safety records, timekeeping, and production reports.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and transparency in data reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
Minimum 5 years of operational leadership experience in automotive, logistics, or industrial environments.
Strong understanding of accessory installation, preventive maintenance, or PDI operations.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Solid understanding of QHSE practices and regulatory compliance.
Experience managing large, multi‑shift teams in high‑volume environments.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting tools.
Familiarity with scanner or diagnostic systems and automotive process technologies preferred.
