Assistant Professor of Endocrinology – University of Virginia School of Medicine
Tenure‑ineligible Clinical Faculty Track. Provide clinical care for endocrine disorders including bone, mineral, diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, gonadal, and pituitary at UVA Endocrinology/Diabetes and local outreach clinics. Demonstrate a strong commitment to medical education and scholarship/quality improvement.
Role Context The Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism is a collegial team with 32 faculty members, 6 fellows, and leaders in professional societies. The University of Virginia is located in Charlottesville, a community known for arts, history, and outdoor recreation. The division values patient care, training, and research.
Qualifications
M.D. degree (or equivalent) with board certification in Internal Medicine and ABIM board‑eligible/certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by appointment start date.
Prior experience in bone disorders prioritized.
